Dodge revives Charger for police fleets and debuts 2027 Super Bee

Dodge is re-entering the law enforcement vehicle market with the return of the Charger as a police pursuit vehicle. Moving away from the traditional V8 HEMI engines used in previous generations, the new police model will feature a twin-turbo inline-six powertrain designed to offer improved efficiency and performance compared to standard SUVs.

Additionally, Dodge has debuted several updates for the 2027 Charger lineup, including the Super Bee Launch Edition. This high-performance model features a 608-horsepower twin-turbo engine, capable of reaching 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. The brand is also expanding customization options with new colors like ‘Red Oxide’ and emphasizing a range of performance levels, from the 420-HP SIXPACK R/T to the 670-HP electric Daytona Scat Pack.
