Dodge debuts new Charger models including 600-HP Super Bee
Dodge has introduced new iterations of the Charger lineup, transitioning from traditional V-8 engines to high-performance turbocharged straight-six configurations. During the 11th annual Roadkill Nights event, the company debuted the 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee Launch Edition, which features 600 horsepower and is described as the most powerful Super Bee to date.
The 2026 Dodge Charger R/T utilizes a 3.0-liter twin-turbo Hurricane straight-six engine. The Standard Output version of this powertrain produces 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque. This new model represents a significant change in dimensions and weight compared to previous V-8 models, with the vehicle weighing approximately 4,921 pounds and featuring a wheelbase of over 121 inches.
In addition to the new Charger models, Dodge showcased the Durango R/T Smokescreen Concept and various customization programs at the M1 Concourse event in Michigan.
