Dodge extends warranty for Durango LED taillight defects
Stellantis has announced a warranty extension for specific Dodge Durango models produced between 2018 and 2024 due to issues with the LED taillight assembly. The defect affects the middle section of the signature “racetrack” lighting design located on the tailgate, which may experience total or partial failure of the LEDs.
The extended warranty covers the component for five years from the vehicle’s original date of first use, with no mileage limitations. For owners whose vehicles have already exceeded the five-year mark, Dodge is providing a six-month window to utilize the repair service starting from the date they are notified of the program.
Eligible owners who have previously paid for repairs related to this specific defect may apply for a reimbursement upon providing necessary documentation. Stellantis is notifying affected customers via mail. Owners are advised to contact an authorized dealer to check if their specific VIN is eligible for the program.
