Dodge reveals pricing for 2025 Charger Daytona EV
Dodge has announced pricing for the 2025 Charger Daytona EV as the brand transitions away from its traditional V8 engines. The all-electric lineup includes three variants: the R/T model starting at $59,595 with 456 horsepower, the Scat Pack at $73,190 producing 670 horsepower, and a forthcoming SRT Banshee expected to exceed 800 horsepower.
The electric models utilize an 800-volt architecture capable of reaching an 80% charge in approximately 20 minutes. To appeal to traditionalists, Dodge has included the “Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust” to simulate engine sounds.
Parallel to the electric rollout, Dodge is introducing gas-powered versions of the reborn Charger, such as the 2026 Scat Pack featuring a turbocharged six-cylinder engine. However, the shift from the iconic HEMI V8 to electric and turbocharged six-cylinder powertrains has met with mixed reviews and resistance from long-time enthusiasts.
