Dodge unveils 600-hp Charger Super Bee with twin-turbo six-cylinder

Dodge has unveiled the new Charger Super Bee Launch Edition to mark the 60th anniversary of the Charger nameplate. Departing from the traditional V8 engine, the new model utilizes a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged SIXPACK High Output inline-six engine.

Equipped with twin 56mm Garrett turbochargers, the engine produces 600 horsepower and approximately 720 Nm of torque. The powertrain is paired with an eight-speed Torqueflite 880RE automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system that allows drivers to switch to 100 percent rear-wheel drive. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds.

Performance enhancements include upgraded cooling systems, reinforced half-shafts, and Brembo braking hardware featuring six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers. The chassis features dual-valve adaptive dampers and a track-tuned extended front splitter to improve high-speed stability.
