Dodi Lukebakio impresses Benfica manager Marco Silva

Benfica manager Marco Silva has expressed satisfaction with the recent form of Belgian winger Dodi Lukebakio following his performances in the UEFA Nations League. Lukebakio scored two goals, against Italy and France, and provided an assist against Turkey during his four international appearances.

While Lukebakio has primarily served as a substitute for Benfica this season, appearing in only two starts out of ten matches, his recent resurgence is expected to lead to more playing time. Silva noted that the player has worked hard since the transfer window closed to earn his opportunities. Due to upcoming fixture congestion, the manager intends to rotate the squad, which should provide the 27-year-old with more chances to start.
