Doechii releases new single and video CATWOMAN

Florida rapper Doechii has released “CATWOMAN,” the latest installment in her “Swamp Sessions” series. The release follows her previous track “BOMBS” and serves as a precursor to her highly anticipated debut studio album.

The music video features a desert setting and includes a visual sequence where the artist is depicted being blown apart by a version of herself wielding a bazooka. Lyrically, the track incorporates references to Busta Rhymes, Sean Connery, and 2Pac.

Doechii, a Grammy winner and Top Dawg Entertainment artist, recently expressed her intention to evolve the genre by placing Black womanhood at the center of Hip-Hop and Pop. Her recent successes include a collaboration with Lady Gaga on the track “Runway.”
