Doenitz Academy director faces new aggravated rape charges

Legal proceedings are intensifying in Tamaulipas involving two separate criminal cases related to the death of Dafne Zapata Quintos, a student at the Doenitz Military Academy.

Jorge Luis “P”, the director of the Doenitz Academy, faces a new arrest warrant for aggravated rape. This charge stems from an investigation into alleged abuse occurring approximately 20 years ago, which is being prosecuted under state laws that make rape an imprescriptible crime. He is currently incarcerated in Altamira for his alleged involvement in the death of Zapata Quintos, which occurred during a hazing incident.

Separately, Gabriel “Z”, the father of Dafne Zapata, has begun a trial in El Mante for the alleged aggravated sexual abuse of his daughter when she was a child. During recent hearings, the defendant appeared via Zoom despite a judicial order requiring his physical presence. His defense cited security concerns for his appearance, but the judge warned that continued failure to appear in person could result in a new arrest warrant.
