Doenitz Academy instructor charged with aggravated rape

A judge in Altamira, Tamaulipas, has formally linked Juan Jesús “M”, an instructor and legal defender at the Doenitz militarized academy, to a criminal process for aggravated rape against a minor. The judicial resolution follows an arrest warrant issued after reports of sexual assault occurring within the academy in Ciudad Madero.

The defendant is reportedly known as “Comandante Mora” and is the brother of Estrellita Mora, who is the alleged perpetrator in the feminicide case of student Dafne Zapata Quintos. While the two cases are legally distinct, the sexual assault investigation gained momentum after the victim came forward following Zapata's death during a hazing incident.

The court has granted a three-month period for complementary investigations. Although the prosecution has linked the defendant to the rape charge, they have not yet established a joint responsibility or shared involvement between this crime and the investigation into the death of Dafne Zapata.
