DOES releases second 20th-anniversary single ‘Nandatte Iiyo’

The three-piece rock band DOES has released its second new single, ‘Nandatte Iiyo’, as part of a three-month consecutive release project celebrating the band's 20th anniversary. The garage rock track was released on October 16, 2026, alongside an official music video.

Written and composed by Wataru Ujihara, the song is described as a relaxed garage rock number intended to encourage listeners. The music video features a mix of retro home-video style recording footage and clips from recent overseas live performances.

This release follows the first installment of the anniversary project, ‘Ningen Shikkaku’. The band, which formed in Fukuoka in 2003, is well known for performing theme songs for popular anime series such as ‘Gintama’ and ‘Naruto Shippuden’.
