Dog attacks reported in Rondonópolis and Barrocas

In Rondonópolis, Mato Grosso, a pitbull broke through a metal gate to enter a residence in the Ana Carla II neighborhood. The animal killed a small dog inside the home. Residents reported that the pitbull had escaped previously, raising safety concerns for the neighborhood, including a one-year-old child who was present during the incident. The owner of the pitbull did not appear at the scene following the attack, and a formal complaint has been filed with the competent authorities.

In the rural area of Barrocas, a four-day-old calf died following an attack by dogs at Fazenda Carrapato. This marks the second such incident on the property; a previous attack in July left another calf with severe facial injuries that required specialized feeding care. Local reports indicate that dog attacks in the rural region have also affected sheep.
