Dogecoin faces $0.10 resistance amid technical gains and blockchain utility updates

Dogecoin is currently trading near $0.095, facing a critical resistance level between $0.098 and $0.10. While the price has seen recent fluctuations, technical indicators show a “golden cross” has occurred for the first time in 14 months, a signal where the 50-day moving average rises above the 200-day average, often suggesting improving long-term momentum.

Utility for the cryptocurrency may expand through the introduction of DogecoinVM on the Metal Blockchain. This Dogecoin-compatible ledger aims to be “300x faster with instant finality,” utilizing the same addresses and script rules as the original Dogecoin to improve transaction speed and interoperability without altering the core Dogecoin itself.

Traders are monitoring key support and resistance levels. A decisive move above $0.10 could lead to targets of $0.105 or $0.106, whereas a drop below the $0.093 support level could see the price fall toward $0.0885.
