Dogecoin Labs launches to consolidate ecosystem products

Dogecoin Labs has launched as a new independent organization to consolidate key Dogecoin ecosystem projects, including the MyDoge wallet, the DogeOS application platform, and the Such App. Formed in partnership with the Dogecoin Foundation, the entity aims to expand the utility of DOGE beyond speculative demand by focusing on real-world commerce, decentralized finance, and consumer applications.

Jordan Jefferson, the founder of MyDoge and DogeOS, will serve as the company's chief executive. The organization will oversee the integration of MyDoge, which reports over 500,000 users, with DogeOS, an EVM-compatible application layer that launched its public testnet, Chikyū, on September 30.

To drive merchant adoption, the company is promoting the Such App, which provides tools for invoicing and in-person QR payments. This strategic move shifts House of Doge from a steward role to an equity stakeholder within the new commercial structure, aiming to build a more robust on-chain economy.
