Dogengers Autumn Sports Festival draws 9,099 attendees in Fukuoka

The fifth annual ‘Dogengers Autumn Sports Festival 2026’ was held on October 4, 2026, at Uminonakamichi Seaside Park in Fukuoka. Organized by M Market Agency and Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, the event drew 9,099 attendees despite cloudy and rainy weather.

The festival features the Fukuoka-based tokusatsu heroes, Dogengers, who act as team captains to lead children and families through various athletic competitions. This year, 472 participants competed in eight hero-led teams across five disciplines, including tug-of-war, obstacle races, and relays. Former Japan national football player Keisuke Tsuboi also participated in the activities.

In addition to the sports, the event included stage performances by guests such as Kumamon and DJ Dainoji. The venue also hosted 26 corporate and organizational booths, alongside a local food festival featuring 11 vendors. The initiative, supported by Sumitomo Life Insurance Company, aims to foster a culture where heroes are a tangible part of daily life for children.
