Dojlidy Białystok defeats AS Pontoise Cergy TT in Champions League opener

Klub Sportowy Dojlidy Białystok has successfully opened its Champions League group stage campaign with a 3-2 victory over the 2024 French champions, AS Pontoise Cergy TT.

In the individual matches, Aleksandr Khanin secured a 3-0 win against Mihai Bobocica, while Piotr Chodorski defeated Jules Cavaille 3-2 following a controversial point dispute in the final set. Although Zhou Kai from China won both of his matches against Khanin and debutant Amirezza Abbasi, Abbasi managed to secure the decisive team victory by defeating Mihai Bobocica 3-0 in the final match.

Dojlidy Białystok is scheduled to face the Czech team TTC Ostrava 2016 in their next group stage encounter.
