DOKA allocates 3.9 million TL to two green projects in Ordu

The Doğu Karadeniz Kalkınma Ajansı (DOKA) signed a protocol in Ordu Province under its 2026 Year Green Acceleration Support Program, approving a total grant of 3,912,024 Turkish lira for two projects. The first project, part of the Turkey Social Inclusive Green Transition (SoGreen) initiative, will receive 1,826,250 TL to upgrade hazelnut processing to higher‑value production and implement green transformation measures. The second project, aimed at the furniture sector, will obtain 2,085,774 TL to achieve resource savings and green conversion.

The signing ceremony was held at the Ordu Governor’s office, chaired by Governor Muammer Erol and attended by DOKA General Secretary Kemal Akpınar. Akpınar highlighted that the program supports efficiency and clean‑production in manufacturing, promotes eco‑friendly tourism practices, and provides technical analyses and road‑maps for micro and small enterprises operating in the TR90 region.
