DOKU appoints Himelda Renuat as CEO and rebrands to DOKU by Antom

Indonesian fintech company DOKU has announced a leadership transition and rebranding to ‘DOKU by Antom’ following deepened strategic investment from Antom, the merchant payment and digitization arm of Ant International.

Co-founder Himelda Renuat, previously the Chief Marketing Officer, has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of DOKU and Head of Antom Indonesia. She succeeds Chris Yeo, who has served as CEO since 2022. Yeo will transition to a new role as Head of Antom Philippines, where he will focus on advancing AI-powered merchant payment services.

The rebranding reflects the growing synergy between DOKU, Antom, and 2C2P, a regional payment gateway subsidiary. The collaboration aims to integrate DOKU with Antom’s global merchant network and expand services for merchants in Indonesia by combining local market expertise with global capabilities.
