Dolce & Gabbana exhibition in Montalbano Elicona extended

The art installation ‘La Sicilia negli occhi’, dedicated to the creative relationship between Sicily and the fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, has been extended until October 31, 2026. Located at the Swabian-Aragonese Castle in Montalbano Elicona, the exhibition was extended by the municipality with the approval of the fashion brand to allow a wider audience to visit.

The project, titled ‘D&G al Castello di Montalbano e Montalbano per D&G’, creates a dialogue between fashion, photography, cinema, and historical heritage. It features works by Fernando Scianna and Giuseppe Tornatore to present an intense and personal portrayal of Sicilian landscapes, faces, and traditions.

The initiative also promotes local craftsmanship and collaborations, such as featuring traditional bobbin lace embroidery from the Pro Loco of Novara di Sicilia and contributions from the local floricultural district.
