Dollar Tree recalls 360,500 electric balloon pumps due to explosion risk

Approximately 360,500 electric balloon pumps are being recalled due to risks of overheating, burns, and potential explosions. The recall was issued by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) after safety issues were identified in the devices.

The affected products are high-pressure electric balloon pumps manufactured in China. They are pink with blue handles and feature model number 406198 on a silver label located on the bottom of the unit. The devices operate in two modes—continuous and contact—and lack adequate heat dissipation systems, which can lead to dangerous overheating.

These items were sold through Dollar Tree physical stores and digital platforms, including DoorDash and DollarTree.com. Dollar Tree is offering full refunds to customers who return the product to any store location. For those who purchased the item online, the company provides a prepaid shipping label for returns upon direct contact.
