Dolly Parton to Receive ACM Poet’s Award at 2026 ACM Honors

Country music icon Dolly Parton will be honored with the Academy of Country Music’s Poet’s Award at the 19th ACM Honors. The ceremony takes place on August 19, 2026 at The Pinnacle in Nashville, and Parton will accept the award via a special video message.

The event features a line‑up of performers and presenters, with longtime ACM hosts Carly Pearce and Parker McCollum co‑hosting. Other honorees include Eric Church (Lifting Lives Award), Kacey Musgraves (Spirit Award), and the late Brett James (posthumous Poet’s Award) alongside The Carter Family.
