Lana launches multi‑activity children’s summer program in the Dolomites

From early July to early September the municipality of Lana in the province of Bolzano organized “Estate per bambini,” a series of outdoor and cultural activities for children. Guided rafts on the Adige River, “wild river tubing” on the Valsura torrent, and climbing sessions at the Rockarena are among the sport‑focused options. The program also includes visits to a beehive at the Kammerhof farm, interactions with alpacas and llamas, and workshops on honey extraction and candle making. Additional experiences feature a bike‑skills park, cooking lessons for colorful burger buns, marzipan modelling and ice‑cream making. The initiative highlights the gradual ascent from cultivated valleys to alpine pastures, encouraging families to explore forests, meadows, alpine lakes and historic mountain farms throughout the region.
