Dolomiti Bellunesi Foundation unveils 2026–2027 winter tourism strategy
The Fondazione DMO Dolomiti Bellunesi has presented its tourism offerings for the 2026–2027 winter season during a meeting in Milan. Under the theme ‘The Dolomites you do not expect are in Veneto’, the initiative aims to expand visitor interest beyond iconic locations like Cortina d’Ampezzo, Arabba, Alleghe, Falcade, and Auronzo.
The strategy seeks to leverage the international attention generated by the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games to promote lesser-known areas. These include Val Comelico, Val di Zoldo, Val Fiorentina, Agordino, Alpago, Cadore, and Valbelluna.
Marketing and communication manager Elisa Calcamuggi stated that the brand unifies these mountain realities by highlighting the unique identity of each community. The goal is to provide authentic experiences and connect visitors with local traditions, culture, and gastronomy, moving away from mass tourism toward a more intimate exploration of the territory.
