Dolomiti Energia joins Primo Climate fund to accelerate energy transition

Dolomiti Energia, the Trentino‑based utility, has become an investor in Primo Climate, a climate‑tech fund managed by Primo Capital Sgr. The fund, launched in summer 2024, has a €48 million investment capacity and counts LifeGate among its partners.

Primo Climate targets mature startups that can reduce greenhouse‑gas emissions and scale industrially, focusing on decarbonisation, energy efficiency and innovative energy production, management and use. The fund invests in Italian companies or foreign firms with development plans in Italy. CEO Stefano Granella said the partnership allows Dolomiti Energia to monitor emerging technologies closely and apply its industrial expertise to bring solutions to market, strengthening its role in the regional and national energy‑innovation ecosystem.
