Dolores celebrates 209th anniversary with new stadium and race

The city of Dolores celebrated its 209th anniversary with the inauguration of the new Ciudad de Dolores Indoor Stadium. Mayor Juan Pablo García opened the facility, noting that the project had remained unfinished for over 16 years. The renovated venue includes professional floating wood flooring, mobile stands, locker rooms, and improved accessibility, aiming to establish the city as a regional sports hub.

In conjunction with the anniversary festivities, the second edition of the ‘Pedro Gatti’ Anniversary Race was held. The 10K event drew more than 200 runners from Dolores and surrounding areas. Diego Galván of La Costa secured first place in the men's general classification with a time of 27 minutes and 38 seconds.
