Invencible Rosario stadium inaugurated for South American Games

The Invencible Rosario multipurpose stadium has been inaugurated in the Parque de la Independencia in Rosario, Argentina. This facility serves as a key piece of infrastructure for the upcoming XIII South American Games Santa Fe 2026.

Spanning 5,300 square meters of built area, the stadium features a flexible design to accommodate various disciplines. It is scheduled to host judo, karate, and artistic skating during the games. The venue has a base capacity of 2,400 seated spectators, with the ability to add 400 more via temporary stands. The project was funded by the Government of the Province of Santa Fe with support from the CAF (Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean).

Governor Maximiliano Pullaro and Mayor Pablo Javkin attended the opening, which coincided with the Copa Santa Fe volleyball tournament. Pullaro noted that the construction related to the South American Games has generated employment for over 3,000 people. The stadium's name, 'Invencible,' draws from the historical identity of the Santa Fe province.
