Dolphin Mall evacuated following reports of gas odor

A section of Dolphin Mall in western Miami-Dade was evacuated on Friday following reports of a strong gas odor. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene to conduct a preventive operation and inspect the affected area.

The evacuation was targeted to a specific section of the shopping center rather than the entire complex. Emergency teams worked alongside gas company technicians to locate the source of the odor and ensure the safety of the facilities. No injuries, poisonings, or hospitalizations were reported as a result of the incident.

Authorities stated that the situation was brought under control by the initial responding units. Investigations focused on inspecting pipes, connections, kitchens, and ventilation systems to rule out dangerous concentrations of gas.
