Doma United defeats Enyimba to maintain perfect NPFL start

Doma United secured a 2-0 victory against nine-time Nigerian champions Enyimba at Pantami Stadium, marking their third consecutive win in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday three. Sadiq Rilwan scored the opening goal, followed by a second-half strike from Yusuf Fantami. With this result, Doma United has maintained a perfect record of nine points and three clean sheets since their promotion to the top flight.

Following the defeat, Enyimba technical adviser Emmanuel Deutsch expressed confidence in his team's ability to recover, despite the loss. Deutsch noted that the squad had prepared well for the challenge in Gombe but raised concerns regarding internal distractions stemming from social media and press reports. He emphasized the importance of maintaining player mentality and credited the club chairman for providing continued financial and personal support to the squad.
