Domain sales volume surges following summer reporting backlog

A significant backlog of previously unreported summer domain sales has led to a surge in reported transactions, with volumes nearly doubling the typical bi-weekly average. This spike is attributed to various venues releasing accumulated data from June, July, and August following the summer holiday period.

Among the high-value transactions, 13V.com sold for $120,000 via SnapNames, and Boltz.com sold for $105,000 through NameJet. The highest-selling country code top-level domain (ccTLD) was LGT.com.au, which sold for $84,474 (AUD $120,000).

While .com domains dominated the top rankings, ccTLDs occupied six of the top spots, including the $50,000 sale of Variance.io. Other notable sales included Fureur.com for $59,888 via Sedo.
