Domantas Sabonis dismisses Sacramento Kings trade rumors

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis has dismissed recent trade rumors as “all made up.” Speaking to Eurohoops, Sabonis stated that ignoring the speculation was easy, noting that he maintains close contact with his agent and team management rather than following social media.

The rumors followed a season where Sabonis was limited to 19 games due to a meniscus tear. Previous reports suggested exploratory discussions between the Kings and the Charlotte Hornets, as well as potential sign-and-trade scenarios involving the Detroit Pistons.

Sabonis remains with the Kings for the upcoming season, where he is scheduled to earn $45.5 million. While his long-term future in Sacramento remains a subject of discussion as the team integrates younger players, he is set to enter the season as the team's starting center.
