Italy launches various regional health screening and prevention initiatives

Various health prevention and medical initiatives are being conducted across Italy. In Rome, the 'Prenditi Cura di Te - Prevenzione è Salute' event will take place in Piazza Cavour from September 24 to 26, offering free specialist screenings in areas such as cardiology, dermatology, and nutrition for both lawyers and local residents.

In Catania, the 'Camper della Prevenzione' has already provided over 600 oncological screenings in its first six days, continuing its tour through various municipalities to provide mammographies and HPV tests. Similarly, the AISC camper will offer cardiovascular screenings in Cisterna di Latina on September 21.

Professional medical gatherings are also occurring, including a regional congress for general practitioners in Genoa focused on chronic disease management and artificial intelligence, and a specialized conference in Catanzaro regarding holistic lung cancer care. Additionally, the SANES association is hosting hematological screening days in Rome, and L'Aquila is launching the 'Ascoltami' project to provide free hearing tests.
