Domenico Palumbo wins inaugural Slalom Tifernum in Petrella Tifernina
The inaugural Slalom Tifernum took place on September 12 and 13 in Petrella Tifernina, drawing 24 racing crews and a significant number of spectators to the Molise region. The competition was held on a 2.7-kilometer course featuring 13 cone stations.
Domenico Palumbo, representing Scuderia Vesuvio and driving a Radical S4, secured first place in the overall classification. Riccardo Di Veronica of Santopadre Racing finished second in a Fiat X 1/9, while Giovanni Piccolo of Scuderia Vesuvio took third in a Fiat Seicento. The top five was completed by Giovanni Palumbo of Scuderia Vesuvio in an Osella PA 21/S and Andrea Vassalotti of Molise Racing in a Fiat 126.
Special awards were presented during the event, including a recognition for CMS Racing ASD, which received an autographed photo from Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc. Vesuvio Corse received the team award, and Paride Alessio Pietradura was honored in the Under 23 category. The event was organized by the Tecno Motor Racing Team in collaboration with the Petrella Tifernina municipal administration and the local Pro Loco.
