Domestic assault convictions issued in Wales and Pennsylvania

In Welshpool, Wales, 24‑year‑old Dean John Wygold was sentenced by magistrates after he threw his former girlfriend to the ground during a domestic assault, causing injuries to her palm and elbow. The victim told police she felt “petrified” for her safety. A restraining order was also imposed.

In Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, 23‑year‑old Quianna Renee Wilson was charged with aggravated assault and several other offences after police said she attacked her grandmother during a domestic disturbance, resisted arrest, and caused damage to a home and a police station. She remains in custody awaiting a preliminary hearing.
