Ljubinja man charged with domestic violence against wife

A 29-year-old man, identified as M. L. from Ljubinja, has been charged with domestic violence following an incident on July 28, 2025. According to the indictment from the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Trebinje, the suspect struck his wife twice in the face with an open palm after she attempted to wake him for breakfast.

The victim, who has three minor children, subsequently left the family home to stay with relatives. The indictment alleges that the suspect's violent and brazen behavior threatened the peace, physical integrity, and mental health of his family member.
