Dominic Foos wins Vierumäki Finnish Challenge

Dominic Foos secured his second HotelPlanner Tour title at the Vierumäki Finnish Challenge, finishing with a total score of 21 under par on the Cooke Course in Finland. Foos overcame challenging wind and rain conditions during the final round, posting a 67 to finish one stroke ahead of Denmark’s Jonathan Gøth-Rasmussen (-20).

This victory marks a significant milestone for the 28-year-old, occurring eleven years after his record-breaking win at the 2015 GANT Open in Turku. The win earns Foos 48,000 euros and moves him to 26th in the overall standings, strengthening his position in the race for DP World Tour cards.

German golfer Tiger Christensen finished in third place at 18 under par. Christensen had entered the final round as the leader after a standout third round of 63, which included an eagle and seven birdies, but he was unable to maintain the lead during Sunday’s play.
