Dominic Monaghan seeks return to MCU as mutant Bolt

Actor Dominic Monaghan has expressed interest in returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to reprise his role as Chris Bradley, also known as Bolt, from the 2009 film ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’.

In the original film, Bradley was a mutant with the ability to manipulate electricity and electronic devices, though the character was killed by Victor Creed (Sabretooth). Monaghan suggested that the franchise could explore more stories with the character, perhaps by introducing an older, more experienced version of the mutant.

Monaghan also praised Sadie Sink’s performance as Jean Grey in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, noting that the new cast for the upcoming X-Men projects looks promising.
