Dominican Consulate in Madrid receives 4.8-star rating
The Consulate General of the Dominican Republic in Madrid has achieved a 4.8 out of 5-star rating on Google Maps, reflecting positive user feedback regarding its services. This rating follows the institution's recent relocation to new, modern facilities after more than 50 years at its previous location.
The modernization process, led by Consul General José Ernesto Marte Piantini, focuses on improving service quality and community engagement. A key feature of the new headquarters is enhanced accessibility; located on a ground floor with direct access, the facility is designed to remove barriers for individuals with disabilities or reduced mobility.
These improvements align with the administration of President Luis Abinader to strengthen the state's presence abroad and improve service standards for Dominican citizens residing in Spain. The consulate continues to work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) to implement feedback and address the specific needs of the community.
