Dominican Fashion Awards Celebrate Fifth Edition with 32 Categories

The fifth edition of the Premios a la Moda Dominicana was held at the Teatro Nacional Eduardo Brito in Santo Domingo. The ceremony expanded the awards to 32 categories, up from 25, to recognize a broader range of specialties within the growing Dominican fashion sector.

Founder and CEO Stalin Victoria highlighted the platform’s growth since its 2022 launch and said that presenting the awards in the Carlos Piantini Hall marks a milestone for the industry. A jury composed of Anny Abate, Francisco Sanchís, Juan Tomás, Ichanell Rodríguez, Elis Mesa, Iván Balcácer and Celeste Pérez selected the winners. Special honors such as the Icon of Fashion, Best Dressed Artist and the Grand Award were also presented, underscoring the sector’s contribution to the country’s creative economy.
