Dominican Karate Federation identifies 108 athletes for talent program

The Dominican Karate Federation (FEDOKARATE) has identified 108 athletes to join the “Nido de Talentos” (Talent Nest) program. The selection took place during the Fifth National Championship of Regional Cup Results in Santo Domingo.

FEDOKARATE President José Luis Ramírez stated that these athletes will undergo technical preparation and monitoring to enhance their competitive abilities for international competition. The federation aims to have these talents participating in international championships by 2027 as part of a long-term development strategy.

The event was dedicated to Engineer Ángel Acosta, the federation's president ad vitam. Franklin de la Mota, the Vice Minister of Sports, represented the Ministry of Sports at the proceedings.
