Dominican Labor Agencies IDOPPRIL and SISALRIL Forge Alliance to Boost Worker Services

The Dominican Institute for Prevention and Protection of Occupational Risks (IDOPPRIL) and the Superintendency of Health and Occupational Risks (SISALRIL) met in Santo Domingo to deepen inter‑institutional coordination and identify strategic areas for improving services to Dominican workers. IDOPPRIL executive director Dr Agustín Burgos said the partnership aims to increase efficiency, quality and timeliness of assistance, while also advancing digital transformation of services. SISALRIL superintendent Miguel Ceara Hatton highlighted that the collaboration will give workers better access to up‑to‑date information on their rights and responsibilities, and support joint training and awareness programmes to strengthen a culture of prevention and workplace safety.

Both agencies emphasized joint efforts to develop digital tools, streamline technical and operational processes, and promote initiatives for the integral well‑being of workers, reaffirming their commitment to the Dominican Social Security System and occupational risk prevention.
