PRM presents candidates to fill vacant seat in Dominican Chamber of Deputies

The Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) has formally presented a shortlist of three candidates to the Chamber of Deputies to fill the seat left vacant by the death of deputy Jorge Frías. The proposed candidates are Minerva Altagracia Frías Ogando, Alexandra Santana, and Eladio Rodríguez Ramírez.

During a meeting of the party's new executive leadership, Vice President Deligne Ascención announced that once the Chamber selects a successor, the individual will be notified within ten days for swearing-in. The meeting also addressed internal organizational matters, including upcoming membership registration and verification drives, as well as support for the Central Electoral Board's identification process.

Party leaders emphasized that despite recent public differences, the organization remains united. The leadership also plans to implement training workshops for party spokespersons and strengthen communication across various national and territorial demarcations.
