Dominican Republic and Cleveland Institute of Music sign educational alliance

The Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Culture, through the National Conservatory of Music, has formalized a cooperation agreement with the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) in the United States. The alliance aims to expand training opportunities for Dominican students and teachers through academic exchange, mentorship, and joint programs.

Signed in Cleveland by Minister of Culture Roberto Ángel Salcedo and CIM President and CEO Paul Hogle, the agreement facilitates the mobility of educators and students. It also seeks to create pathways for young Dominican musicians to pursue professional training at the CIM. The partnership is intended to strengthen the academic and artistic capacities of the National Conservatory of Music while connecting Dominican talent to high-level international institutions.
