Dominican Republic and Honduras launch joint postal emission

The Dominican Republic and Honduras have strengthened their diplomatic ties through the simultaneous release of a joint postal emission titled ‘Lagos y Lagunas’. Managed by the Dominican Postal Institute (INPOSDOM), the collection consists of four postage stamps that highlight the emblematic water bodies and natural landscapes of both nations.

The initiative stems from a Memorandum of Understanding regarding postal matters and coincides with the celebration of 102 years of uninterrupted diplomatic relations between the two countries. Officials noted that the philatelic project serves as a symbolic tool to preserve national identity and cultural heritage while building bridges between the two nations.
