Dominican Republic Army graduates 503 soldiers in specialized tactical courses
The Dominican Republic’s Army held a graduation ceremony for 503 soldiers who completed a series of specialized tactical courses. The event was led by Commander General Major General Jorge Iván Camino Pérez and took place at the Plaza de Ceremonias of the Campamento Militar “16 de Agosto” in Santo Domingo. Graduates included 81 in the Command course, 80 in the Cimarrón course, 66 in the Cazadores course, 52 in the Montañeros course, 59 in the Macheteros course, 75 in the Iguaneros course, 41 in the Hateros course and 49 cadets in the Cazadores course. In addition, 34 soldiers were recognized for top academic and performance merits. The commander emphasized that the training boosts the Army’s operational readiness and the troops’ ability to defend national territory.
