Dominican Republic Chamber of Accounts publishes five new audits, total now 110
The Chamber of Accounts of the Dominican Republic (CCRD) approved and published five additional audit reports during its 17th and 18th ordinary sessions, bringing the total number of audited reports and special investigations to 110 since the current administration began in April 2025. The audits cover the National Police (budget execution 2020‑2022), the municipalities of Boca Chica (2013‑2016) and San Cristóbal (2016‑2018), the Ministry of Education (2019‑2020) and the Superintendence of Electricity (2016‑2017).
The approvals were led by CCRD president Dr. Emma Polanco Melo and were conducted in compliance with the Dominican Constitution, Law 18‑24 and the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAI). The institution highlighted the reports as part of its ongoing effort to strengthen transparency, accountability and external control of public resources.
