Dominican journalist Patricia Pérez Díaz attends World Constitutional Law Congress in Colombia

Patricia Pérez Díaz, a Dominican journalist and lawyer, took part in the World Congress of Constitutional Law held at the Universidad Externado in Colombia from 6 to 10 July. The four‑day event gathered jurists, academics and legal professionals from around the world to discuss contemporary challenges in constitutionalism, including sustainable democratic institutions, human rights and environmental protection.

Pérez Díaz, a graduate of the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo with degrees in journalism and law, also holds master’s degrees in corporate communication and labor law, and is currently pursuing a master’s in constitutional and procedural law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. She teaches communication‑law courses at the Universidad Católica Santo Domingo, and her participation underscored her commitment to continuous legal education and the strengthening of the rule of law in the region.
