Dominican Republic authorities search for Haitian national wanted for murder

The Dominican Republic’s General Directorate of Migration (DGM) has activated intelligence and security protocols to determine if Esther Thomas, known as ‘Nice B’, is currently in the country. Thomas is wanted by Haitian authorities for her alleged involvement in the murder of a woman known as ‘Baby Love’ in Croix-des-Bouquets.

The search follows social media activity that sparked concerns regarding her location. While some TikTok videos appeared to show Thomas in Santo Domingo Este, recent live broadcasts show her in Haiti alongside Darlens Duclona, an individual linked to the ‘400 Mawozo’ gang, who claimed she is under the gang's protection in Haiti.

Dominican intelligence units are monitoring airports, ports, and border control points. The DGM is coordinating with the Ministry of Defense and other security agencies to verify her presence and facilitate legal cooperation with Haiti regarding the criminal investigation.
