Dominican Republic Labor Ministry Receives Mexican Statistical Project

The Ministry of Labor of the Dominican Republic received a project titled “Monitoring and Evaluation of Indicator Variables from Administrative Records of the Ministry of Labor”, prepared by Mexico’s National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI).

The initiative is part of a bilateral cooperation program between the two countries, supported by the Vice Ministry of International Cooperation, the Mexican Agency for International Development (Amexcid), and was presented in the presence of Mexican ambassador Carlos Miguel Aysa González and Minister Eddy Olivares Ortega. It aims to improve the quality of labor statistics, create an evidence‑based monitoring system and strengthen policy design for the Dominican labor market.
