Chaco, Paraguay, and Argentinos por la Educación exchange literacy strategies

Officials from the Chaco Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Education and Science of Paraguay, and the organization Argentinos por la Educación met to exchange strategies for strengthening teaching and literacy. The discussions focused on initial literacy, reading comprehension, and fundamental learning through evidence-based scientific methods, teacher training, and the distribution of educational materials.

During the meeting, Martín Nistal, director of the Observatorio de Argentinos por la Educación, highlighted Chaco’s progress in literacy following positive results in recent Aprender tests. Paraguayan Vice Minister of Basic Education, Peggy Martínez, joined the delegation to analyze public policies that could be applied to their own educational challenges.
