Dominican Republic Ministry of Justice swears in electoral committee

Antoliano Peralta Romero, the Minister of Justice, has sworn in the members of the Electoral Committee and the Technical Team responsible for organizing and overseeing the election of the Government Integrity and Regulatory Compliance Commission (CIGCN).

The two bodies will work together to ensure the selection process adheres to principles of legality, transparency, impartiality, and equity. This initiative follows Law No. 41-08 on Public Function and Decree No. 791-21, which designates the implementation of these integrity commissions in public institutions as a high national priority.

During the ceremony, Minister Peralta emphasized the need for ethics, independence of judgment, and institutional commitment to ensure a reliable process and equal opportunities for all participating employees.
