Dominican Republic police seize over 2 kg crack and cocaine in Santiago apartment

The National Directorate of Drug Control (DNCD) and the Public Ministry arrested Kelvin Elías Jiménez, known as “Neno,” during a raid on an apartment in the Corona Plaza sector of Santiago de los Caballeros. Authorities seized 2,339 grams of crack, 820 grams of cocaine, more than one million Dominican pesos in cash, a jeep, phones, a scale, a money‑counting machine and other valuables.

The seized substances were sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences for analysis, and the investigation into the micro‑trafficking operation continues under Dominican drug‑control law.
