Dominican Republic to host regional fuel summit and AI conference

Santo Domingo will host two significant international summits focused on industry regulation and technological transformation.

The Caribe Service Station Summit 2026, organized by Surtidores LATAM and EH+, is scheduled for November 3 at the Hotel Jaragua. The event will bring together investors, government authorities, and fuel distribution representatives from the Dominican Republic, Argentina, and Colombia. Key discussions will focus on regulatory, operational, and commercial challenges within the hydrocarbon industry amidst energy transition and technological shifts.

Additionally, the HUMANOS 5.0 International Summit, titled ‘From Algorithm to Purpose’, will take place on October 28 and 29 at the Hotel El Embajador. Organized by the International Academy of Innovation and Technology (AIITEC) and the Fundación Creciendo Juntas, the summit will feature over 28 experts discussing the impact of artificial intelligence on labor markets, education, and business competitiveness.
